Gianni Zarrilli has been involved in transportation for thirty-five years. He’s learned the business with a grass roots approach from the ground up.

Gianni first got into the transportation business as a driver. He soon became a dispatcher and later became the Manager of Ambassador Wheelchair, Inc. He was loaned out to DynCorp, Inc. (a multibillion-dollar corporation) to help create the first non-Emergency medical transportation operation in Connecticut. His success in this operation immediately caused DynCorp to permanently hire him to run the operations. DynCorp’s competitor, LogistiCare LLC, quickly saw Mr. Zarrilli’s abilities and hired him to be Director of their operations, a position he held for thirteen years.

Mr. Zarrilli left LogistiCare to pursue his ambitions to own his own transportation operation. He created Transportation Management Solutions, LLC (TMS) in 2007 to provide transportation services for special needs students. TMS has grown to serve 62 school districts in Connecticut and Rhode Island providing over 80,000 trips per year. Gianni is the co-owner of Ambassador.
